The story of a saint, when told with spirit, gives great inspiration to others. The stories reiterate concepts in the New Testament, and provide a view of some of the best aspects of the Church. In many ways, such stories are like an Icons.

In this presentation, there are three types of medical saints to be depicted:

Physician Saints, such as

Cosmas and Damien
Panteleimon
St. Blaise

Hospital Saints, such as

Elizabeth of Hungary
John of God
Camillus of Lellis

Other Saints, such as

Martin de Porres
St. Bartholomew
Peregrine
St. Maron
