INDICATIONS FOR USE
This is a cleansing formula to aid the body in removing accumulations. Birch, goldenrod, and juniper have long been used for removing fluid excess, acting as mild diuretics. Fluid retention is a common problem in those who have sluggish metabolism, weak digestion, and obesity. The remaining herbs in the formula are digestive aids, based on the trio of licorice, fennel, and anise, and complemented with the aromatic peppermint, caraway, and coriander. They are used to assure that the foods consumed are fully digested and utilized, thus reducing hunger and minimizing overeating.
Persons suffering from significant digestive system complaints may wish to use this tea along with Tea for Digestion. Laxative Tea may also be used as an aid to eliminating excess and resolving constipation.
Use this tea in an appropriate program of diet and exercise. Not intended for use during pregnancy. Women wanting to avoid estrogenic effects should limit their intake of this formula (not use it every day at full recommended dosage).
Diuretic: relieves edema and promotes free flow of urine.
Diaphoretic: promotes perspiration, used as a therapy for fevers and for "toxic" syndromes.
