EXPLANATORY NOTES

This is a calming formula based almost entirely on the trio of lemon balm, valerian, and hops that has been adopted throughout European herbal practice to calm anxiety and nervous energy. This formula also provides orange blossom, a tasty and fragrant herb that has these same calming properties, and peppermint, which along with orange blossom provides a good taste to the tea as well as a soothing effect on the digestive system. Frequently, nervous tension causes the stomach to be sensitive, so that difficulties with appetite or digestion arise. With this formula, one can treat both the underlying stress and the secondary digestive symptoms.

COMBINING

Persons suffering from significant digestive system complaints may wish to use this tea along with Tea for Digestion. For those who are suffering more significant emotional distress, including depression, the tea can be combined with Tea for Mood. If insomnia is present, Tea for Sleep may be taken before bedtime.

CAUTIONS

If symptoms persist, see your doctor. Limit use during pregnancy to no more than two teabags each day.
